Leadership of the Vision & Mission

A Look to the Future

We also welcome Children’s Home Society (CHS) to our network of supported Northwest Florida charities. CHS is one of Florida’s oldest not-for-profit organizations providing services for children and families for over 120 years. While they are best known for their work in child welfare, over the last 120 years, their services have evolved to meet the new needs children and families are facing daily. CHS delivers a unique spectrum of social services with an emphasis on prevention. Locally, CHS offers 14 programs between Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay counties ranging from counseling and mental health services, early childhood services, and Community Partnership Schools, to mentoring, outreach, and job training programs.
“We could not be more thrilled to be a part of the DCWAF organization. We have been blown away not only by the incredible staff and board members of this organization, but also by the emphasis on collaboration with the other organizations who benefit from DCWAF funding,” Children’s Home Society Director of Development, Natalie Ales McGaw said. “This partnership truly feels like a family and one we could not be more grateful to be a part of. We are excited to share the work being done at Children’s Home Society with all of the DCWAF supporters and look forward to an incredible year of partnership ahead.”
