Children's Volunteer Health Network

Children’s Volunteer Health Network began in 2005, when one little boy named Tyler and his crooked smile touched the heart of Tricia Carlisle-Northcutt.  Tyler was disruptive, funny and had great leadership potential, but his jumbled mouth of teeth caused him physical and emotional pain. Tricia knew that Tyler needed help and she believed there were more children like him who could not afford or access health care. Through a lot of prayer and research, the idea for Children’s Volunteer Health Network was born.

 

Since 2005, CVHN has grown to encompass two fully equipped Mobile Dental Clinics that travel across both Okaloosa and Walton County delivering quality preventative and restorative dental care to kids grades K – 5 in nine of our elementary schools.  The impact of the staff, volunteers, and programs of CVHN has grown as well, providing assistance to over 16,000 children with over $7 Million in free health care services. CVHN is now working alongside community partners to assist in providing mental wellness services to our children. In all ways, Children’s Volunteer Health Network is committed to our mission and vision, eliminating barriers to accessible and affordable healthcare for children in need through mobile solutions and community partnerships so that all God’s children have the greatest opportunity to reach their full potential.

Connecting wine enthusiasts to raise money benefiting children in need in Northwest Florida

Founded in 2005, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation has donated more than $38 Million to Northwest Florida children's charities by hosting world class wine and culinary events. These funds have impacted the lives of over 100,000 youth, including those afflicted by health issues and abuse. Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation has been recognized as one of the nation’s ‘Top 10 Charity Wine Auctions in the U.S.’ by Wine Spectator Magazine for more than a decade.
