Where new beginnings becomes a reality for women and families. Opportunity Place's mission is to help women and families who are homeless achieve self-sufficiency. 

Children who have experienced homelessness and great poverty are five times more likely than their peers to become homeless as adults. We can slow this cycle and save generations from trauma, fear, and failure if we help families now. Opportunity Place, Inc., provides temporary emergency shelter and hope for a brighter future for women and families with minor children.

For parents, Opportunity Place, Inc. provides the tools necessary to gain and maintain employment, budget appropriately, and parent effectively. While the parents are learning these essential skills, their children receive unique services to help them heal and flourish. OPI staff and volunteers provide a nurturing, supportive environment that fosters academic, emotional, mental, and physical growth. They provide a warm bed to lay their heads at night. nutritious meals, clean, size-appropriate clothes, toys, and books, and an opportunity to be a child.
