Brent and Monique Evans debuted Indigenous Chocolate in Alys Beach, Florida November 2022 as the Florida Panhandle’s only single origin bean to bar/bean to bonbon chocolate company.  However, the catalyst of this chocolate experiment began 17 years ago as a casual hobby in their home kitchen in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

What originally was an occasional weekend amusement has grown into a focused passion and quest for extreme quality single origin cacao sourced conscientiously and ethically.  Such a careful pursuit of the top 5-10% of global cacao beans has allowed them the freedom and control to wholly process, from bean to bar and bean to bonbon, exceptional micro-batch artisan chocolate.
