Jeff Blaum

Jeff recently joined the Blackbird team as the head of sales after over 20 years of making and selling wine in Napa Valley. Jeff began his career at Chase Cellars where he met Blackbird owners John and Julia Hinshaw in the early 2000’s. At Chase Jeff did a little bit of everything, driving the tractor and forklift, cleaning the barrels and tanks along with hosting guests and traveling on behalf of the winery. He has spent most of the last two decades interacting with wine lovers in Napa Valley and throughout the country on behalf of two family owned wineries.

In joining Blackbird, Jeff will look to expand the direct-to-consumer reach of the brand while maintaining the excellent reputation Blackbird has in the trade industry. He is known locally for creating and hosting outstanding food and wine events including bASH (Appellation St. Helena’s food and wine paring competition) and Primal (now known as Heritage Fire). He will raise the Blackbird Napa Valley experience to new heights and take this love of food, wine and bringing folks together on the road.
