Lasheeda Perry is the pastry chef and owner of Queen of Flavor, a dessert tasting room located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. With 19 years of creating flavorful sweet treats in various luxurious hotels and restaurants, Lasheeda thought it was time to utilize her  talent in a different capacity. Specializing in sophisticatedly quirky desserts, Lasheeda truly believes that there is always room for dessert, so she created a space of her own where she can share her well-traveled experiences and her love for baking.

She has always had a passion for culinary arts, and luckily for the sweet-tooth everywhere, this love has materialized into a successful and rewarding career. Prior to creating Queen of Flavor, she received her culinary education from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI in 2008. Immediately after graduation, Lasheeda secured an entry-level pastry cook position at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. Within five years into her career, Lasheeda would hold the title of Executive Pastry Chef at Bon Appetit Management Company LinkedIn. A few years later, she would hold that same title at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta and Beverly Wilshire.

Throughout her sweet culinary journey, Lasheeda has received numerous awards and accolades. In 2012, several of her desserts landed on Philadelphia food critic Craig LaBan's coveted Four-Bell Finest list. She’s been featured in several magazines, which include The Atlantan, Pastry Arts Magazine, Bread Bakers Guild of America, and Food Network Magazine, to name a few.

Lasheeda’s days of competing started in the culinary classroom of a Philadelphia public school. That same competitive drive continued throughout her career. In 2012, she made her very first Food Network appearance on Season 2 of Sweet Genius. She would later appear on the following shows: Best Baker in America, Season 2; Beat Bobby Flay, Season 28; Alex vs America, Season 3; Guy's Grocery Games; and as a featured guest on Netflix’s animation Ada Twist.

When not in the kitchen, which is very rare, Lasheeda enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Traveling is still a top priority, as well as community outreach programs for the youth and the underprivileged.
