Three couples are invited to set sail for a once in a lifetime experience of both the land and sea with Gamba Vineyards and Winery. Situated among the vines just a short distance from the Gamba Family vineyard, the beautifully appointed five-bedroom Villa Scarlata serves as the perfect Russian River Valley retreat while in Sonoma wine country.  

Your adventure begins with a private guided vineyard tour through Gamba’s historic vineyards in the Russian River Valley. Learn first-hand about their treasured 124-year-old Gamba Estate Vineyard as winemaker, Gus Gamba, shares his organic farming methods and winemaking philosophies while detailing the epic story of his family’s legacy of over six generations of wine grape growing. Enjoy a personal tour through 400 acres of picturesque vineyards of the Russian River Valley in style in a well-equipped vintage Land Rover with frequent stops along the way to taste rare library wines. Next, muse over the wines sampled from barrel to be released in the coming year with the Gamba family during your special VIP tasting in the cellar. Later that evening, join the Gamba family to feast on an amazing meal prepared for you and your guests in the barrel cellar. Enjoy some of the best farm to table fare Sonoma County has to offer while sipping library wines and limited releases.  

After spending your first day on land, it’s time to head offshore with the Gamba family for a private cruise across the San Francisco Bay on their private 41-foot sailing yacht. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the gentle breeze as you sip Gamba wines and take in the breathtaking water views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, city skyline, and more. Cruise up to one of the Gamba’s favorite restaurants, and enjoy an amazing seafood feast served to you aboard the sailing vessel.  

Wine down each evening around the outdoor fireplace or take a dip in the jacuzzi while taking in the beautiful vineyard views.  

The lucky winner will also take home a beautifully etched, rare, large format bottle of Gamba Zinfandel MCM, or “1900,” produced from their over century-old vineyard in the Russian River Valley, wax dipped, personalized, and signed by the Gambas for a keepsake of your wonderful surf and turf adventure!
