Barbeque isn’t just a Southern tradition rooted in mountain towns, city streets, and rural backroads — it’s a celebrated part of Destin’s beachside culture. On Sunday, April 18, 2027, forty lucky couples will gather for an unforgettable afternoon of exceptional food, fine wine, and lively company at the beautiful home of Jack and Candis Wilson.

This exclusive experience will be offered for up to 40 couples in both the Super Silent (#140) and Live (#46) Auctions. Purchasing during the Super Silent Auction secures your seat at the set price. Remaining seats will make their way to the Live Auction stage on Saturday where the paddles determine the price.

John and Margaret Sheehan will roll in with their impressive 25-foot mobile smoker, grill, and fryer, preparing an array of mouthwatering specialties designed to delight every palate. A seasoned pitmaster, John takes his talents on the road throughout the year, catering events for up to 350 guests with skill and flair.

Joining them as co-chefs are Wayne Paul and Susan Kiley of Bay Breeze Patio. Wayne, a certified judge for the Kansas City Barbeque Society, regularly travels the country to evaluate top-tier competition barbecue — bringing that expertise and passion straight to your plate.

Hosts Jack and Candis Wilson welcome guests to their home in the heart of Destin on Joe’s Bayou. From their backyard, you’ll take in tranquil waterfront views while enjoying incredible cuisine, outstanding wines, and the company of friends old and new.

An afternoon of Southern hospitality, beachside charm, and barbecue at its finest awaits.
