Booker Vineyards
Eric and Lisa Jensen purchased 100 acres of property in 2001 with the intent of growing the best fruit for some of the best wineries in the area. After making wine with Saxum’s Justin Smith for five years and L’Aventure’s Stephan Asseo for two years, the Jensens decided it was time to create their own expression with Booker Vineyard. The 2005 vintage was Booker Vineyard's first release with wines made by owner Eric Jensen.
Brian Fox left a career in engineering to take a summer job in the Booker tasting room and get back to the central coast of California. His summer job turned into a much longer journey at Booker. In August 2019 he changed roles to support the winemaking team an essential team member for harvest. After eight months of collecting vineyard samples, punch downs, and gaining an overall appreciation for the art of winemaking, Brian transitioned back to Booker’s hospitality team. Now he hits the road (and the Zoom calls) sharing his passion for what makes Booker unique and delicious.
