Sponsor Spotlight: The Jumonville Family

In celebration of Ryan Jumonville’s birthday, we want to highlight the philanthropic support we have received from him and the Jumonville Family.

 

In 2019, Ryan D. Jumonville and his family made history by donating $1 million to Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, marking the largest single donation since our inception. In honor of this generous donation, we renamed both our children’s fund and annual auction in honor of his family. 

 

The Jumonville Family Children’s Fund is a reserve fund available to DCWAF and any of the our charity partners who have an imminent need. The fund exists as an effort to solidify the sustainability of the organization and the charities we support in the future. 

 

The Jumonville Family is also the official presenting sponsor of our largest annual event, the Destin Charity Wine Auction. The family’s $1 million donation following the 2019 auction made it possible for us to donate $3 million to children in need for the first time. When the auction was forced to move to a virtual format in 2020, the Jumonville Family stepped up to offer their private jet for inclusion in a special early auction lot that helped build excitement and awareness for the auction’s new format. Most recently, the Jumonville Family made a $200,000 donation following the 2022 auction to bring the total amount raised to a record-breaking $4 million.

 

Ryan’s philanthropy primarily focuses on children’s healthcare. However, he has also provided homes for single mothers, scholarships for children of fallen U.S. military servicemen, and funded water wells in Africa. He has funded start-up costs for small businesses, research projects on major illnesses, donated more than a million meals to food banks, and much more.

 

Having a philanthropic family like Jumonville not only support our mission but have enough trust in our organization to place their name on our flagship event is both humbling and instrumental to our continued success. We work hard to be good stewards of the funds entrusted to us by our patrons, ensuring that every dollar possible goes directly to helping children in need in Northwest Florida.
